Reports to: Site Manager

Location: Carlisle

Hours: 20 per week, working hours as required between 09:00 to 15:00 Monday to Friday.

Salary: £11,940 per annum rising to £12,190 following successful probation period.

Purpose of the role

We require part time cleaners on site to clean our offices and warehouse to ensure all areas are hygienic, welcoming and presentable. The role will involve tasks such as cleaning surfaces, hoovering, polishing, ensuring recycling is correctly disposed of and maintaining hygienic toilets. They may also on occasions be required to carry out additional tasks such as assisting with industrial cleaning and keeping the supplies of equipment well stocked.

Key responsibilities
- Cleaning warehouse and offices (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and emptying all bins around dispatch in the correct bags).
- Carrying out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as required.
- Carrying out deep cleaning and detailed cleaning tasks such as but not limited to emptying dishwashers, putting cutlery and crockery away, cleaning canteen kitchens, First Aid room and toilets on site.
- Stocking and maintaining supply rooms.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, safe working environment.
- Notifying line manager of issues or needs for repairs.
- Following all health and safety regulations.
- Exercising care of company equipment and the facility.
- Undertaking and utilising training as required.
- Working as part of a team within Carlisle Brass and ASSA ABLOY.
- Participating in employee consultation and feedback forums.
- Any other duties as reasonably directed by the Manager or other Managers within the business.
