**Technical Specialist - Performance**

**Description**

We are looking for a talented lead engineer to join our performance team specializing in technical controls for our Turbo business in Huddersfield.

This is a hybrid role, and we anticipate that you will need to be onsite 25-30% of the time. This may fluctuate, in line with project requirements.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

- Work with aerodynamics engineers in our technology and turbo development teams to develop performance maximized solutions for key customer projects
- Analyze and prepare technical data and complete required documentation of work for different stakeholders and recommend appropriate actions.
- Identify and Lead team improvements projects
- Lead and support problem solving initiatives to provide resolution for turbo systeM/Feature issues and recommend appropriate actions
- Lead the development and release of new product and diagnostics of our existing range to support customer, legal and business requirements

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

- Knowledge in the areas of Matlab, GT-power and Simulink required
- Knowledge of CFD tools
- Understanding of Turbocharger and Thermo-dynamics
- Advanced MS office skills, especially Excel

Compensation and Benefits:

- Salary between £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
- Defined contribution pension scheme (up to 9%)
