Right at Home South Liverpool is a friendly, local homecare provider which recognises that its employees are its greatest asset. We are looking for friendly, reliable, and ambitious Care Assistants to join our team for morning, lunch, teatime and evening home visits in the Widnes and Runcorn areas including weekends. You will be travelling between each client in your own car delivery quality personalised care.

We work on a 2 weekly rota basis, week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday and week 2 is Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Working hours are 8 am to 9.30 pm with breaks.

You probably already have the skills and knowledge you need to make a great Care Assistant, but we can offer you the training to enhance and perfect your skills and to take the next step in your career.

**Care Assistant responsibilities - As a Care Assistant for Right at Home on a shift you will travel between each client in your own car (mileage is paid for) and provide them with the quality care which includes**:

- Supporting with personal care
- Assisting with dressing/undressing
- Moving and Handling
- Meal preparation
- Shopping
- Appointments
- Housekeeping
- Companionship
- Promoting independence
- Support with medication
- Companionship

Requirements of a Care Assistant:

- Be available for early mornings, afternoon, evenings and weekends (alternate) on a shift pattern
- Must hold a full and valid UK or EU driving license and have access to own vehicle
- Be entitled to work in the UK
- Have a genuine passion to want to help others
