As Senior Manual Testing Engineer you will join an existing testing team who test across a division made up of 4 separate companies.
This is a hands-on role with scripting and testing needing to be carried out however, other responsibilities will include attending project calls, assisting in the estimation of work. creation of testing documents and assist in the support of the other teammembers. The person will also assist the Head of Test Engineering in forward planning and work load management.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Skilled in writing Test Strategies, Test Plans and test scripts
- Ability to support other testers, when needed, in all aspects of their work
- Responsible for executing all levels of testing (functional and non-functional)
- Manual testing
- Stress testing
- Performance testing
- Regression testing
- Browser & device testing
- Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
- Attend and/or lead team and project meetings
- Ability to estimate and prioritise work
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
- Write manual test scripts and design tests to mitigate risk
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Analyse user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
- Contribute to internal projects

**Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Manual testing
- ISTQBQ Foundation qualified
- Prior experience of team management would be beneficial
- Knowledge of Jira would be beneficial
- Excellent working knowledge of all aspects of manual testing
- Excellent Knowledge of testing lifecycles
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Good writing and communication skills
- The ability to work in a team and as an individual
