**Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.
- Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring that items are handled safely and efficiently.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, verifying the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders.
- Conduct materials handling tasks, including sorting, packing, and preparing items for dispatch.
- Carry out equipment repair as needed to ensure all machinery is in good working order.
- Utilise forklifts for moving heavy items within the warehouse while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space to promote an efficient working environment.
- Assist with basic math calculations for inventory management and stocktaking.

**Experience**
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, with a proven track record in similar roles.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous for effective inventory control.
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for performing equipment repairs as required.
- Experience in materials handling and shipping & receiving processes is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift is required.

Pay: £12.21-£13.70 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
