**HGV Mechanic Role**

Due to the further strengthening of our partnership with Virgin Media O2, EJC Contracts are on the lookout for experienced HGV Mechanics to join our team.

**The Role**:

- We require an experience HGV mechanic/fitter with a good knowledge of commercial vehicle systems.
- Mechanical servicing and maintenance to a fleet of commercial vehicles including trailers, with routine inspections.
- Undertaking repairs, with diagnostic fault finding to ensure the fleet is consistently maintained and road worthy
- General servicing on HGVs and trailers to major repairs
- Prepare vehicles for PSV/ MOT inspections
- Work with the team on any problems or delays that may occur
- Ensuring relevant documentation is complete

**Requirements**:

- Experience in HGV repair or similar
- HGV licence Class 1 licence
- Proven mechanical experience on commercial vehicles
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle systems and diagnostic fault finding
- Able to carry out repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Computer Literate
