**Graduate - Bourne, Lincolnshire - £22.5K-£25K & bonus**

An established family-run business are seeking to employ a Graduate, to support them in offering a high-quality service to their customers. This role would suit a recent Graduate or someone of graduate calibre with some experience in a commercial environment.

**The role of the Graduate**:

- Preparing export documentation as per contractual obligations to ensure customer satisfaction and timely receipt of cargo
- Contributing to the successful execution of shipments by issuing on-time, error-free documentation
- Monitoring the movement of the products/containers to the customers/destinations
- Working with the various service providers and booking their services when required (Fumigation, Chamber of commerce, etc.) to ensure the contractual terms are all met
- Identifying the requirements with respect to documentation for the successful execution of sales contracts
- Ensuring the documents required for each contract are complete and accurate as well as forwarded within a strict time frame for the customer to be able to clear the product on time
- Alerting other departments (Sales, Accounting, Shipping), as applicable, of any issues that may arise in the execution of the shipment and/or payment with clear details of the shipment status, including options to resolve it with related costs in orderto make an informed decision
- Submitting timely document instructions to freight forwarders, fumigation companies, independent surveyors, and other service providers as per the contracts’ requirements
- Ensuring compliance with export laws and regulations
- Maintaining the export files and ensuring manuals are up to date in the physical and on the server manual folders
- Upon facing any issue, immediately alerting the supervisor, and working together on a solution
- Supporting other departments involved in international business transactions as directed by your supervisor
- Updating and maintaining Excel databases with shipment information.
