**Job description**

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to add to our Learning and Training consultants’ team with a driven and motivated individual to undertake the role of Learning and Training Business consultant. The role will be based within the Northeast, client-facing, generating, and developing new relationships with employers who can benefit from the training services which Optimum Skills offer.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure monthly sales and learner recruitment outcomes are achieved in line with team & individual KPI's.
- Track information accurately ensuring all business opportunities and work activity is tracked.
- Work hand in hand with the Learning and Training team and wider business to support both learner and employer outcomes.
- To assist Senior Management with establishing and implementing business development and marketing strategy for any designated geographical area/sector
- Undertake specialist sales and product training.
- Ensure that all employers receive thorough Information and Guidance.
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all required documentation.
- Maintain employer accounts ensuring regular account management is completed.
- Ensure that all marketing/promotional assets used are current, valid, and approved.
- **Knowledge of Adult education budget, Traineeships, Apprenticeships.**

**Applicant Requirements**:

- Previous business development experience within Education and Apprenticeships (Desirable)
- Excellent communication skills
- Negotiating skills
- Computer literate
- Car owner/driver
