We are currently seeking energetic and motivated Support Worker to join our Out-of-Hours team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing knowledge and support to our services and clients during emergency situations, both during the day and night.

You will have some experience in safeguarding, risk assessments, confidentiality, decision making, alongside working collaboratively. We help change our customer’s lives for the better.

**About our teams**

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of individuals who are welcoming and supportive to newcomers. The Core Out-of-Hours Team is led by Jama and Ananya.

Jama has been with Home Group since 2011 and has the most tenure among our senior members. He started out as a concierge before transitioning to a support worker role within Out-of-Hours.

Ananya, who has recently been promoted to a managerial position within the Out-of-Hours team, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team, having served in the organization for several years. She is an invaluable resource and is always willing to help guide and support team members through any situation.

**Out of Hours Team**

As a mobile worker based in the Tyneside and Northumberland region, you will be an integral part of our unique team, dedicated to delivering exceptional service and upholding the values of Home Group.

In this role, you will be responsible for responding to a wide range of situations and providing support to colleagues, customers, and external agencies. This may include inquiries about availability of emergency beds for homeless individuals, assisting colleagues in supporting customers experiencing mental health crises, and addressing emergency staffing needs.

You will be paired with experienced team members on shift and have the support of a seasoned Out-of-Hour’s manager to help you navigate challenges and achieve the best outcomes. We are passionate about what we do and are confident that you will find this role to be both fulfilling and rewarding.

As a member of our team, you will quickly become a part of our close-knit, supportive community. Our induction process will include coaching and guidance from our seasoned colleagues, who will help you become familiar with the region and our exceptional services.

**Working hours**

We provide 24-hour support to our customers each day and every day. In this role you’ll work during the twilight hours doing waking nights work, working weekends.

We look need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you
