**About the Role**:
If you enjoy designing and implementing all aspects of compensation and benefits to achieve great results, then we need you to help support our People & Culture Reward Team

When you join our 18-month Graduate Development Programme as a People & Culture Reward graduate, you will report to the Head of Executive Pay where you’ll be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of all aspects of compensation and benefits for the National Grid Group Executive Committee, senior leaders, executive pay strategy, and share scheme strategy and administration.

You’ll support on the:

- design and implementation of executive pay strategy (including Group Executive and Senior Leaders), eg, principles for appointing and exiting
- production of all Remuneration Committee papers and presentation materials
- end-to-end process of the Senior Leader annual salary review
- implementation of the end-to-end Global Mobility (expats) policy and process from initial engagement with assignee to repatriation
- prepare salary benchmark data for UK/US senior leadership group in support of annual compensation review process
- be responsible for Group Executive recruitment and terminations, managing, where necessary, the buyout of terms and conditions; formulating hire or exit term sheets, employment contracts and settlement agreements, etc., supported by an analyst

You’ll be a “centre of expertise” to the Group Reward team on database search, modelling and calculations including potential new hire packages, benchmarking information, and salary review processes.

**You’ll have a minimum 2.1 degree in any discipline.**

**What You'll Get**:
**We are proud to offer a starting salary of £30,278 (Bachelors) or £31,379 (Masters).**
