New College Pontefract is seeking a dedicated, highly organised individual with exceptional customer service and administration skills to join our Student Services team as a Student Services Assistant.
This exciting role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will support students, parents, and applicants with a range of services and activities designed to enhance the student experience. Key duties include:
- Assisting with the administration, coordination, and communication of student-facing events and activities, including admissions, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for all involved.
- Maintaining accurate student records, handling sensitive information in accordance with college policies
- Providing additional support to the wider administration, reception, student services, and events teams.
To succeed in this role, you will need strong organisational and time management skills, enabling you to manage a variety of tasks and meet deadlines effectively. You should have a flexible and positive approach to your work, with exceptional customer service abilities.
Experience using computerised administrative systems and good IT skills are essential, as well as a keen attention to detail. An understanding of how to handle sensitive information confidentially is also important.
