Health & Safety Advisor

As Health and Safety Advisor at The Creative Engagement Group you will be responsible to provide an in-house capability that supports the agency to comply with all relevant regulations and procedures.
Our Health & Safety Advisors are champions of the companies health and safety culture and processes.
Our Health & Safety Advisors also work with, and alongside, project teams to assist with the management and coordination of safety on specific projects, as well as working with TCEG contractors or vendors to meet our safety management expectations.

**What will you be doing **
- Providing professional health & safety advice to project teams for the day to day operation of the businesses within The Creative Engagement Group, with a focus on Live, Exhibition and Film productions
- Work alongside other members of the company to assess suitable support levels with regards to safety on projects, and where necessary highlight any areas of concern to the organisation
- Assisting in the development and deployment of internal training programmes across the business to ensure TCEG remains up to date with changing legislation and best practice
- Assisting in the development and update of internal guidance and information for employees and suppliers to better inform each of the Health & Safety expectations of the business
- Working alongside project teams to assess project risks, identifying and implementing suitable control measures
- Working alongside TCEG suppliers to provide support in meeting TCEG health & safety expectations
- Support the development and dissemination of internal communications
- Work with third party health & safety suppliers / consultants to ensure a consistent safety management approach across all projects
- Advising teams on ensuring compliance and carrying out safety audits
- Support the Office Team with maintaining health and safety compliance across TCEG facilities
- Maintaining an incident management system and advising project teams to any learnings following an incident or accident
- Reflecting the agency’s values and culture
- Actively promote TCEG’s services internally & externally
**What do you need to have **
- Qualified to at least NEBOSH National General Certificate
- Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH)
- Preferable experience of working in the live events, exhibitions or entertainment sector
- Confident communicator
- Ability to work collaboratively within multi-discipline teams
- A valid passport to allow international travel
- A desire to continue to drive the health and safety culture with a solutions driven attitude to health and safety
