**Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide direct support to individuals in daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist with medication administration as per prescribed guidelines.
- Implement applied behaviour analysis techniques to promote positive behaviours and learning.
- Work closely with children and adults, adapting approaches based on individual needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to develop personalised care plans.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any incidents that occur during support sessions.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that encourage social interaction and skill development.
- Foster a supportive environment that respects the dignity and rights of each individual.

**Skills**
- Strong background in patient care, particularly with children or individuals requiring special education support.
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum, demonstrating understanding and effective communication strategies.
- Proficiency in medication administration, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Knowledge of applied behaviour analysis principles to facilitate behavioural improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing challenging situations or behaviours.
- A compassionate approach combined with a commitment to promoting independence among clients.
