What Are We Looking For?

Our Fabrication Workshop in Muir of Ord is looking for a Pipefitter to join the team on a full time permanent basis. As a Pipefitter, you’ll work alongside an established team and be required to fabricate and form pipework and manifolds through safe use of hand tools, machinery, and other equipment.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

- Fabricate pipework from customer samples and/or engineer’s drawings to client & industry specifications.
- Undertake maintenance/repair work in existing pipework systems
- Lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair piping systems carrying water, steam, chemicals and fuel in heating, cooling, lubricating and other process piping systems
- Safe use of hand tools, machinery and other equipment
- Assist other disciplines when required
- Accurately record man-hours
- Carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder’s appropriate skill set
- Opportunities to work both within our local fabrication workshop and remotely as part of our site installation teams in Scotland.

What Do You Need?
- Time served and fully qualified with experience within the fabrication/engineering industry
- The ability to operate a range of metal forming machines, including, Grinders, Pipe Benders, Die Equipment
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the sequence of events required to fabricate and form pipe work, and manifolds including site run of pipework without drawings
- Possession of MSRA, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, and Asbestos awareness certificates is preferred but not essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence
