Grafton Banks Finance Ltd is pleased to be supporting a growing SME in West Malling with their recruitment of a Financial Controller role. This position reports into the directors of the company and manages a small finance team. This role is an ideal fitfor a finance professional who has longer term ambitions to become a Head of Finance/Finance Director.

Role requirements as follows:

- Monthly management accounts, profitability reporting, KPI dashboard, weekly sales reporting and other reports and ad hoc analysis
- Responsibility for all statutory returns, CH requirements, Making Tax Digital, group VAT and Corporation Tax
- Provide support to Heads of Business with finance information and analysis. To include P&L's for each business activity, contractual performance/ fulfilment, customer profitability, identifying efficiencies and strategies to improve margin
- Working closely with the Finance Manager on team objectives and KPI’s
- Support Sales with pricing including Scenario modelling, pricing models and sensitivity analysis of margins
- Responsible for balance sheet KPI reporting, management of working capital, balance sheet reconciliations, share capital transactions
- Manage annual budget process and run rolling forecast and full year projection to be reported to heads of business and board
- Manage all capital transactions, depreciation, capex reporting and align with Finance Manager for all cashflow implications
- Assist with assessing potential investment and ROI
- Preparing audit files and coordinating with Finance manager
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable including trade finance, hedging and FX system rates. Work with sales and procurement to ensure robust processes

The role pays circa £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE) & a competitive benefits package
