Operation Supervisor

As a dedicated Operations Manager, you will be a part of an ever-changing work environment looking after our Surrey (Out of Hours) and CAS (Clinical Assessment Service). Our telephone triage services and out-of-hours services provide advice, information and treatment for NHS patients who become unwell during the out-of-hours period, when their own GP surgery is closed.

Practice Plus Group are searching for an expert operations supervisor to lead the Surrey Primary Care service. You will be supervising day to day operations of the front line staff, as well as maintaining safe and efficient controls for our prescriptions and drug cassette's used within our service.

You will be primarily responsible for our PCC & visiting performance including monthly staff 1-2-1's, organising training and working to achieve strong scores on our KPI's matrix. Any monthly/ annual audit requirements, monthly operational reviews, car check sheets, drug cassette & prescription management, working closely with the PPC/V administrator to review and action shift reports.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- Good basic education
- Management Qualification

SPECIALIST SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Ability to make decisions under pressure
- I.T. Literacy
- Excellent knowledge of basic IT packages incl excel, word, PowerPoint
- Ability to analyse capacity & demand to 95+%

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Problem solving and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience in management performance data on a weekly basis
- Experience in line management of staff
- Understanding of Integrated Urgent Care
- Multi-site Management
- Experience of staff development/succession planning

KNOWLEDGE
- Good local geographical knowledge and map reading ability
- Broad range of computer & telephone systems skills
- Interpreting/analysing data skills
