We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team at Tipo. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that the kitchen is clean, organised, and well-equipped for food preparation. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the culinary or hospitality industry, particularly those with an interest in cooking and food service.

**Duties**
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or cooks, ensuring high standards of hygiene are maintained.
- Help with the storage and inventory of food supplies, ensuring that all items are properly labelled and stored.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by assisting with basic cooking tasks and preparing ingredients.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to within the kitchen environment.
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote sustainability within the kitchen operations.

**Skills**
- Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques are advantageous.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen setting is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- A willingness to learn and develop skills within the culinary field.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
