An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to work part-time at the Staffordshire Training Hub and join the team to support the development of a new and innovative Staffordshire General Practice Nurse (GPN) Foundation School. Dependent on experience the salary is negotiable, and the working hours can be mutually agreed however, it is anticipated that a Monday and Tuesday will be the two core days of work.

This role provides an opportunity to deliver varied and innovative work, aimed at supporting the Staffordshire GPN Foundation School, and in turn the NHS and the Primary Care nursing workforce in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

**Training Hubs**

The Staffordshire Training Hub (STH) is hosted by GP First Ltd, commissioned and funded by Health Education England on a not-for-profit basis and works closely with the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care System (ICS).

The STH team have the opportunity to develop sustainable solutions to ensure the local Primary Care multi-professional workforce feels empowered, and has the necessary skills, competencies, resilience and confidence to deliver excellent patient care.

It provides a platform for the workforce retention, education and training opportunities for all clinical and non-clinical General Practice staff within their local footprint.

This post holder will be office based in Stafford with some homeworking. The role will suit a self-motivated, experienced Administrator with (as a minimum) intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.

The successful applicant will support the STH Strategic Nurse Lead who is the GPN Foundation School Programme Director with the advertising, recruitment and on-going management of the programme. The post-holder will also work closely with cross-organisational colleagues from the wider system around the collection, management, and utilisation of nursing workforce data.

The successful post-holder will also provide robust communications across the Staffordshire Primary Care system and be a professional and efficient first point of contact for incoming communications.
- Planning, arranging and facilitating interviews and meetings including face-to-face and virtually.
- Taking Minutes at meetings,whether face-to-face, virtually or via a recording of a meeting.
- Robust recording of data and supporting with the reporting requirement of the programme as outlined by the NHS Midlands Primary Care School and system partners.
- Provide assistance with planning and arranging of placements, courses and events; including organising catering, booking venues and liaising with event leads.
- Logging and processing of invoices as and when required.
- First point of contact for all diary and Staffordshire GPN Foundation School communications.
- Regular posts and updates onthe STH Social Media accounts; Facebook and Twitter.
- Producing bulletins and flyers via Canva and the Mail Chimp platform.
- Compiling electronic surveys via the Survey Monkey portal.
- Maintaining and updating of the Staffordshire GPN Foundation School information on the STH website.
- Dealing with telephone queries and signposting to appropriate individuals or organisations.
- To support the STH Administration team when required, with the management of STH courses, including advertising courses, liaising with the Course Providers, sending Joining Instructions, creating Certificates of Attendance and ensuring the STH team are kept up to date regarding the status of course uptake.

**Qualifications**

**Essential**
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths, Grade C or above

**Desirable**
- Qualification in Business and/or Administration
- MS Office qualification or equivalent
- Project Management

**Experience**

**Essential**
- Experience of working in the NHS
- Previous administration experience
- Proven time-management, organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and confident to work autonomously
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines
- Intermediate level of MS Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables), Word and PowerPoint
- Uploading and posting on social media

**Desirable**
- Experience of working in Primary Care
- Website administration experience
