We are working with a prominent education establishment to resource for a HR Shared Services Team Leader. The role's function will be to manage, monitor, develop and review all shared HR and L&D transactional processes.

You will be controlling areas such as statutory records, HR databases, recruitment and selection and staff management, completing audits to ensure compliance and providing the delivery of streamlined, efficient and accurate transactional processes.

The role
- Maintenance, management and quality assurance of statutory education records
- Managing and supervising the delivery of all DBS systems, processes and procedures for the department for all staff, including all recruitment and selection processes
- Completing regular required DBS audits, training and updating staff on DBS processes, updating systems and processes and ensuring full and accurate compliance with DBS requirements by all staff, in order to safeguard students
- Review, monitor, maintain and develop the HR database
- Manage, monitor, review and develop all transactional processes, procedures and associated manuals and documentations. Manage and be accountable for the quality of this work
- Manage the delivery of the recruitment processes from approval of vacancies to be advertised, placing of adverts, arranging interviews, processing appointment paperwork, including contracts, and reviewing and developing the service as required. This mayinclude undertaking recruitment and selection interviews as and when required. Producing minutes for weekly EAR approval and then processing the resulting decisions made.
- Manage a designated team of HR & L&D shared services staff
- Assist with the provision and promotion of the Helpdesk support service
