**Location**:Home Based with extensive travel around **Lincolnshire & Midlands**
**Hours: 38 hours per week**
**Salary: £41,000.00pa**
**Salary Additions: £4,224.00pa Car Allowance**
**We have a fantastic new opportunity for you to join our Lincolnshire and Midlands team as their Deputy Regional Manager.**
**Job Purpose**:
- To ensure that the individuals supported by Ambient have the best possible lives.
- To work with the Regional Manager to support the delivery of the strategy and provide strong leadership for the region., delivering financial performance and ensuring service excellence.
- To maximise the performance of staff within the services, ensuring that all staff understand their roles and responsibilities and are fully supported.
- To deputise for the Regional Manager in Lincolnshire and Midlands
- To assist the Regional Manager with the operational management of the services, in accordance with Ambient’s policies and procedures and CQC Fundamental Standards where applicable.
- To provide a clear focus for the leadership: highly visible and authoritative presence, responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support in accordance with the fundamental standards. Ensure that the needs of the people we support areplaced at the center of care delivery.
**Key Skills and Knowledge**:
**Qualifications**:Management Qualifications (Degree, Level 4 and 5 Diploma, MBA or Equivalent)
**Experience**:
- Management experience, managing social care services for older people or people with learning disabilities.
- Delivery of a wide range of care services in a competitive environment
- Working in a performance-based environment
- Experience of increasing quality within service provision
**Skills & Knowledge**:
- A supported but performance-based management style
- Strategic management thinking
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead managers in a competitive environment
- Able to “sell” care services and lead appropriate promotional campaigns
- IT skills to be able to use basic office systems
- Financially literate
- Able to work on own initiative and challenge where appropriate
- Safeguarding of Vulnerable adults
- CQC Fundamental services
- Heath and Social Care Legislation
- Quality systems and processes for Social Care Service
- Health and Safety management in care related services
- Developments in the wider social care environment
**Personal Attribute**:
- A person centred approach that recognises the uniqueness and value of everyone we support
- A supportive, respectful, and enabling approach, towards staff that motivates them to do their best.
- Able to travel within the region on daily basis and across the country on a regular basis.
Ambient Support is a registered UK charity with over 25 years’ experience in providing care and support services for older people, people with a mental health need and people with a learning disability.
