Long Distance Van Driver

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced self employed long distance Van Driver to join GIANT FREIGHT. You will need to be an experienced delivery driver and will be driving a Luton van with a tail lift and you will be expected to stay overnight on some jobs (£30 additional pay for overnight stay).
You will be expected to stay away regularly.
You will be expected to collect multiple drops on a route and back routes. Across the whole country including Scotland
MONDAY - FRIDAY
LUTON VAN PROVIDED
INSURANCE AND FUEL PAID
PAID WEEKLY, 7 DAY PAYMENT TERMS
SELF EMPLOYED POSITION
**Responsibilities**:
- Safely operate and drive a company van to transport goods to their destinations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere to traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or van driver
- Commercial driving experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Capable of heavy lifting when loading and unloading cargo
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £120.00-£150.00 per day
Additional pay:
- Bonus scheme
Work Location: On the road
