**Credit Controller**
Are you an experienced **Credit Controller** with a minimum of 1-2 years experience and looking for a new opportunity?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity with our client based in **Theale**, as a **Credit Controller.**
**Responsibilities**
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Produce and issue customer invoices to agreed invoicing terms
- Compliance with VAT regulations and ensure correct reporting
- Process all customer receipts against the ledger and reconciled against bank statements
- Obtaining remittance advices
- Issuing customer statements
- Ensure on-time customer payments
- Internal communication of invoice status and payment issues within the business
- Escalation of overdue invoices and active role in resolving disputes
- Provide input into business cash forecasts
- Maintaining invoice files and general invoicing admin to ensure clear audit trail.
- Creating new customer accounts and associated coding in business systems.
- Month End ledger close and producing Aging Reports
- Monthly foreign currency revaluation of ledgers
- Lead improvements to business systems relating to AR and Credit Control function
- Ensure documented processes are in place and up to date
- Responsible for annual statutory audit enquiries relating to AR
Other Finance responsibilities
- Assist the Financial Controller and Finance Manager on ad-hoc administration duties
- Assist with banking administration
- Excellent Excel skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Organised, being able to multitask and prioritise
- Great attention to detail
**£24,000 to £27,000 per annum**
**37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday**
**Free onsite parking is available**
**Hybrid working after initial training period**
