**Team overview**

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Test Manager to join the Test & Validation Management Team (TVM).

TVM manages the entire test lifecycle, from reviewing requirements, through planning, test execution and defect management, to making a recommendation for the release under test.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Taking ownership of the quality assurance, automation and testing (QAT) strategy as part of a broader risk-based approach
- Building and implementing strategy for Testing Team to enable the success of project
- Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
- Deploying and managing resources for testing
- Planning, deploying and managing the testing effort for any given engagement
- Functional testing - You can analyse changes to the development of products and services and plan design
- Non-functional testing - You know how to analyse changes to or the development of products and services
- Technical breadth. You know how to use a range of contemporary technologies including cloud platforms and open source to better enable and enhance the delivery of QAT services
- Occasional travel to customer sites
- Test analysis. You know how to visualise, articulate and solve complex problems and concepts.

**What you’ll bring**
- Understanding of UI based automation (e.g. Ranorex)
- Working knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure / Virtualisation
- Installation and configuration of Microsoft Operating Systems experience
- Experience with Operating System Registry Hives
- Experience with TCP/IP Networking
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
- Experience with Windows Deployment Services
- Experience with Microsoft Windows servers
- Experience with debugging & root cause analysis
- Command Line experience
- Experience with network diagnostic tools such as WIRESHARK for debug / fault finding purposes

**Please note, this role requires SC clearance, so you'll need to meet the SC eligibility criteria to apply.**
