The Procurement Analyst (Governance) will provide support to our client and the Cost & Organisation teams who oversee and challenge business on adherence to the policy, financial controls framework, supplier selection and overall compliance.
The role will primarily focus on providing the necessary governance and support in order that Procurement can support the business in making better decisions on overall procurement strategies. This capability will be demonstrated throughout the end-to-end supplierlifecycle and ensure alignment with the wider governance forums within the bank.

- Providing compliance oversight and structure to regulatory and policy matters
- Partnering with Organisation colleagues to ensure the make-buy decision is understood and documented,
- Ensuring a detailed tracking and monitoring regime is in place to allow effective management oversight of the respective landscape and associated risks
- Being responsible for delivery of all relevant procurement forums
- Co-ordinating Audit and other internal stakeholder requests for Org + Cost
- Executing internal control checks to provide assurance over the operating effectiveness of key processes

**What you'll bring.**:

- Good stakeholder management and prioritisation skills
- Process management experience

**It would also be nice for you to have.**:

- Knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
- Ability to interpret and evaluate information
- Good understanding of cost and the drivers of this in financial services
- Good communication skills, ensuring all stakeholders are briefed appropriately

**What else you need to know.**
This is a permanent role, and you will work 2-3 days per week from office.
