**Client Details**
Delighted to be supporting a leading distributor within their field, through an exciting time for the business as they continue in their growth plans. Due to expansion, they are recruiting a Depot Manager to join the team in the Chesterfield DistributionCentre.
**Description**
The successful Depot Manager will be responsible for managing a distribution facility. Focused on safety and compliance, you will effectively manage all aspects relating to people, assets, processes and performance associated with the site. Key responsibilitieswill include:
- Delivering a proactive and preventative approach to Health & Safety, role modelling behaviour, ensuring legal compliance and safe working practices at all times.
- Reviewing KPI performance weekly, covering absence and productivity performance.
- Having a strong presence throughout the operation; making decisions, problem-solving and balancing priorities whilst always acting with integrity and due diligence
- Managing site costs within budgeted levels and stocks in line with customer demands
- Managing day to day performance capabilities and motivating the team to meet targets and deadlines.
- Developing team members to deliver an exceptional service.
**Profile**
The successful Depot Manager will live within a commuting distance of our client's operation in Chesterfield and be able to demonstrate the following experience:
- Previous people management experience within a Transport environment, including developing teams of people and training others on operating procedures.
- A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background.
- Knowledge of working to Health & Safety and Employment law practice
- CPC National or International holder
- Determination and drive to achieve challenging targets
- Excellent Time management and Organisational skills
- Ability to work Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
**Job Offer**
The successful Depot Manager will receive:
- Salary £40,000 - £45,000.
- Company Pension Scheme.
- Company Holidays - 25 + 8.
- Plus additional company benefits.
