**Do you have a training qualification (PTLLS to QTS or equivalent), experience developing training material and delivering this to people with complex needs?**

The Trainer will be responsible for the design, delivery of short courses (unit-based maths, English, employability and personal and social development learning) to young people either living in accommodation services or receiving floating support across Bradfordand Barnsley.
You will be required to ensure that all courses meet the specification requirements of the awarding body and adhere to the awarding body and company policies and procedures.
You will manage the learner pathway, which will include, initial assessment, enrolment, in learning and the exiting of learners on completion of their course of study using a variety of contractual/non contractual paperwork. The completion of paperwork willbe of a high standard to meet our compliance requirements.
You will develop innovative learning materials that are relevant, stimulate interest, and positively stretch and challenge young people with SEMH to be the very best version of themselves.
You will positively contribute to the wider team to ensure its training function is meeting compliance, and gains a positive Ofsted rating.
You will work with internal colleagues and external partners to ensure that the learner is at the heart of everything we do.
Work with the line manager and continuously improve the learning offer to meet the needs and aspirations of young people aged 16-25.
**Who we are looking for**:

- Suitably qualified for the role with a relevant teaching qualification (PTLLS to QTS or equivalent).
- SEND qualification
- Significant experience of working with vulnerable adults with social, emotional and psychological needs
- Experience of delivering educational learning in a PRU or similar setting.
- Experience of developing and adapting conventional teaching methods to meet the needs of learners
- IAG qualification (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards.
- Proven ability to deliver innovative training to groups to inspire and motivate achievement.
- Proven ability to fulfil the requirements of external bodies and meet required standards.
- Plan and devise a programme of learning (scheme of work) with appropriate teaching and learning strategies, resources and assessments.
- Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain partner relationships
- Manage workload to meet conflicting deadlines, prioritising to reflect crisis and changes
- Up to date knowledge of Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, Prevent and Data Protection legislation.
- Ability to reflect and meet targets and goals set out in annual work plan to achieve departments business aim to meet the organisational strategy
- Understand quality processes and procedures within the Qualifications framework to deliver a high quality learning service.
