Founded in 1983, our client is a chartered accountants with offices in London and Kent.Their offices are in the buzz and bustle of London, with six further branches in quieter historic towns throughout Kent.All of the teams offer exceptional serviceand expert advice across a far-reaching variety of routine and complex accountancy and tax issues.

The practice's reputation is built on the robust and effective services they provide for private individuals, sole traders and start-ups as well as established SMEs and blue chip businesses. They are Making Tax Digital (MTD) experts and their expertise coversmultiple sectors including law firms, hotels, restaurants, retail, CIS, property and charities - even fashion and media including films.Most important of all, their clients benefit from their core approach which is 'exceptional as standard'.

The practice are now looking to recruit a trainee chartered accountant for their Tunbridge Wells office.The role offers on the job training whilst studying towards your ACA qualification.

**Experience/qualifications**:

- Sufficient qualifications to begin studying towards the ACA qualification (for further details visit the ACA website but the minimum entry is either A-levels or AAT qualification)
- IT skills
- Driving license required

**Responsibilities**:

- Working in the office and at clients to prepare accounts as required.
- Carrying out audits.
- Preparing tax computations.
- Assistance with answering the phones.
- Dealing with client queries.
- Reporting to the manager/partner within the office and assisting with tasks given to them.
- The above is not an extensive list and other ad hoc duties within the office will arise as part of the role.
