We are currently looking to recruit Waking Night Support Workers with an interest in working with people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Behaviours of concern.
We provide excellent e-learning and face to face training to enhance the service your provide and nurture your development.

**Responsibilities**:
- Provide care and support to individuals with disabilities.
- Assist in the care of people with disabilities at home.
- Assist in the care of people with disabilities in residential care facilities.
- Assist individuals with disabilities with activities of daily living.
- Assist in the care of people with special needs in nursing homes and residential care facilities.
**Qualifications**
- Care experience
- Assisted living or nursing home experience
- Service User care skills
- Familiarity with Learning Disability and Autism care
- Ability to create and implement care plans
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a supportive environment
- First aid certification is a plus
- Driving license for transportation needs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks
- Proficiency in meal preparation and medication administration
**What you will be doing in your role**:
- Finding fun and creative ways to keep people occupied at home
- Completing care plans and logs to a high standard
- Supporting people with budget management, house work, organising appointments and helping to prepare and cook meals.
- Supporting people to access/undertake activities they love i.e. playing on the playstation/going to Blackpool etc..
**Experience**:
- No previous experience is necessary
- Previous experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, young adults or disabled is desirable.
- Experience of supporting challenging behaviour is desirable.
- Flexibility is key as we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days of the year. Shifts are given 4 to 6 weeks in advance.

Pay: £29,677.44-£30,176.64 per year
