**Job Summary**:
As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring employees, organising workload, and optimising day-to-day activities to minimize costs and deliver quality products. This role involves both office-based and shop floor-based tasks, with a focus on actively carrying out fabrication tasks while motivating the team and problem-solving.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives to ensure accurate manufacturing according to specifications.
- Strategically plan production workload to align with business needs and prepare production schedules to streamline workflow.
- Work closely with the purchasing team to maintain stock levels for uninterrupted workflow.
- Lead by example by performing best-in-class fabrication tasks as part of the production team.
- Maintain a safe work environment, identifying and reporting hazards promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and communicate instructions clearly to the production team.
- Identify and communicate training requirements for the production team, ensuring they are competent in their roles.
- Conduct quality control checks on production output to meet business and installation targets.
- Ensure all measuring equipment is up to date and calibrated.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in aluminium **fabrication**, including cutting, routering, marking out and drilling.
- Understanding of basic engineering drawings.
- Forklift license beneficial/desirable; training will be provided if necessary.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Industry knowledge of automatic and manual doors desired but not essential; full training provided.
- Familiarity with various manufacturing machinery and tools, along with an understanding of basic engineering drawings.
