We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our Training Department as a Curriculum Lead. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of the design, development, and continuous improvement of qualifications and wider curriculum courses. You will lead the creation and maintenance of high-quality learning programmes and assessments, ensuring full compliance with awarding organisation requirements.
**Work Location/Hours**
Home Based (with occasional visits to the FPA Head Office)
08:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the design and development of qualifications, CPD courses, and supporting materials
- Produce learner-focused resources to aid assessment preparation
- Oversee the scheduling and upkeep of all training products and content
- Ensure compliance with awarding organisation requirements across all products
- Embed educational best practice, including in digital and e-learning formats
- Design and maintain the e-learning portfolio, including bespoke client content
- Analyse assessment data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
- Lead standardisation and support training to upskill internal teams
- Engage with awarding organisations and represent FPA at meetings and events
- Liaise with clients to scope and deliver bespoke training solutions
- Contribute to curriculum KPIs and report on relevant performance data
- Mentor colleagues and share expertise to build team capability
- Stay up to date with industry developments and maintain own CPD

**Key Education and experience**
**Essential**
- 2 years’ experience in course development, Teaching and Learning or educational practice
- Relevant IT skills - Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook
- Fire safety awareness or willingness to learn
- E-learning development experience/awareness
**Desirable**
- Level 4 IQA qualification or equivalent
- Experience of Articulate 360
