We have a Trainer role available which will support our culture of learning and transformation. This newly created Trainer will support our growth strategy by assisting our Learning & Development Lead in the ongoing development of all Surface Transforms team members.
We are looking for an inspiring, progressive Trainer to continue growing our culture of learning and transformation. Someone who will relish driving all Learning and Development activities across the business.
**What you’ll be doing as our Trainer**:
- Conducts regular training needs analysis in order to determine the most relevant effective training solutions for services.
- Provide training, such as: Production Training, Leadership & Development, Induction and Refresher Training.
- Works with Senior Leadership Team to identify the training requirements tailored to the business needs and individual PDP's; determines the priorities and plans a 12 month rolling cycle to create a company wide training calendar.
- Contributes to the design, development and production of training materials, documents and manuals to ensure consistency and quality of content and delivery to meet the specific needs of the training programme.
- Assists with the induction and training for new service openings.
- Evaluates and reviews training materials and tools utilised on the regions, updates as appropriate to ensure maximum effectiveness.
- Understands the needs of the business to ensure legal compliance training is organised and delivered cost effectively.
- Works closely with the Leaders to ensure thorough implementation and evaluation of the training programmes. Manages and maintains training information on the database / system for training reporting and record maintenance.
- Actively participates in two way communication, sharing and exchanging relevant and timely information with Leaders.
**The Skills, Knowledge and Experience you will need as our Trainer**:
- Professional delivery and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organisational skills
- Proactive and able to use initiative and work under minimum supervision
- Flexible in order to ensure that training is consistent across all shifts
- Designing, developing and delivering training programmes
- Training needs analysis
- Train the Trainer knowledge
- Supporting Graduate and Apprenticeship schemes
- Passion for learning and development theories and methods
- Confidence in delivering and facilitating all aspects of the training cycle
- Experience of configuring and working with learning management systems
**Need to have**:
- 3 years experience of working within a busy Trainer role
- LMS administration management
**Nice to have**:
- Train the trainer qualification
- Held a Trainer role within the Manufacturing or FMCG industry
