We are looking for a self-motivated, highly organised, adaptable, and enthusiastic individual to join our service as a Medical Secretary for the Mid Locality Integrated Community Mental Health Team (Carrick).
Do you have effective organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, are able to prioritise work, handle difficult situations and have a flexible approach to working as part of a team? If so, it’s you we are looking for to integrate well with the existing team and offer the required flexibility in supporting the functions of the team. Our common goal is to have a genuine desire to contribute to providing a quality service for patients
This is a full-time post working Monday - Friday, 08.45 a.m. - 17.15 p.m.
To provide a high quality comprehensive medical secretarial service to a specific number of Consultants and Junior Medical Staff and to assist in the organisation of the Consultant's workload.
To be a part of the Medical Secretary and wider admin Teams and to ensure high levels of service are provided at all times, across the Locality.
To ensure effective lines of communication between team members, patients, and others, whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Just over 568,000 people live here. A third of people who live in Cornwall are supported by acute hospital services in Devon. As a result, we also work closely with our partners in Devon. In the summer, and during other holidays lots of people choose to visit the area. This increases the numbers of people who use our services.
