Menzies Distribution are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver to work for our Normanton depot.

**Normanton, WF6**

**Full-time, permanent**

**4 on 4 off, NIGHTS**

**£37,179 P/A**

HGV Shunter Duties:

- Supporting the depot by loading & unloading onsite trailers
- To carry out vehicle and trailer safety checks prior to commencement of shift complying with appropriate documentation and procedures
- Ensure vehicle load is safe, secure and correctly positioned
- Correctly check and accept load documentation and delivery paperwork
- Correctly check in any returned goods and ensure paperwork is accurate
- Operate vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger self or other road users
- Undertake any other reasonable job instruction to support the supply of a quality service to the customer
- Ratchet, Strap & corner management duties

**HGV Shunter Requirements**:

- Self motivated individual
- Dedicated flexible and reliable
- Full HGV Class 1 license entitlement
