We specialise in nurse-led care for adults and children with a range of disabilitiessuch as spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, Multiple Sclerosis and Muscular Dystrophy. **The role
As a Healthcare assistant you will be working alongside a colleague to provide care for a young adult with global development delay that has complex clinical requirements such as Peg feeds, Naso and Oral suctioning. Our client is non-verbal who requires2:1 support at all times to ensure all of his medical and personal needs are safely met, he also enjoys spending his time listening to music and social interaction.

On a daily basis you will support our client who lives in his family home with all manual handling and personal care needs. In additional to these you will ensure that the client interacts in social events of his choice and encourage and support his hobbies.

Our client is currently awaiting discharge from hospital, therefore you will be required to support with the transition of returning to his family home and will be required to attend shadow shifts / training in the hospital until his discharge.**
