Fabricator (Windows, Doors, Curtain Walling)
This is an opportunity to join our factory team
Applicants with good uPVC window or joinery experience may also be considered.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Fabrication, inclusive of hanging, beading, gasketing, of Aluminium Frames, i.e. Doors, Windows, Curtain Wall
- To ensure the manufacturing schedule is achieved as quickly and efficiently as possible, in order to meet targets and deadlines.
- Use of various machinery e.g. punch tools, mitre saw, CNC Router
- Assist with stock check activities
- Assisting with incoming goods deliveries
- Driving licence Preferred but not essential
Knowledge & Experience
- Health and Safety focused
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Be able to prioritise and organise work efficiently and effectively.
- Be driven to achieve objectives, regardless of problems.
- Be energetic and enthusiastic, proactively offering proposals and solutions to problems
- A drive to achieve team objectives.
- Communicate information in a clear, concise and confident manner.
- Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed.
**Salary**: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Witham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
