**Salary**: £52,084 - £57,344 - depending on skills and experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Coordinate all phases of software development and integrated software solutions for specific UAS (Un-crewed Air System) platform offerings, including hardware integration of software solutions
- Support the definition of the software product architecture to meet the through life requirements
- Support the Integration of software systems and sub systems including resolution of engineering conflicts
- Planning, specification and development of complex software solutions comprised of components sourced from internal, external and international suppliers
- Specification of software components and integrated software solutions for specific UAS platform offerings

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Complex software-based mission system solutions, coordination of complex software programmes, unmanned systems
- Understanding of complex software development, including BAE Systems software development processes and model-based development
- Understanding of the safety and security requirements as applied to software development
- Understanding of current software architectural approaches, such as Pyramid and modular / component-based systems
- STEM Degree or professional qualifications gained through industry will also accept applicants that have demonstrable experience in lieu of a formal qualification

As a part of Autonomous Collaborative Platforms team, you will Join part of Falconworks which is a brand-new team within BAE. Joining a unique team on product development never seen before in BAE Systems. You will have an opportunity to work on prototype design and working to develop synergies.
