**PROPERTY INVENTORY & INSPECTIONS CLERK**

**Job Role**
Our organisation is currently hiring, due to expansion. We are looking for a part time Property Inventory and Inspections Clerk to work in our small, family run business.

The primary responsibilities of this role will be to visit rental properties to perform inspections at the beginning, during and end of tenancies, and to create corresponding reports.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform property visits as per schedule.
- Type up reports and return to clients in a timely manner.
- Liase in a professional manner with landlords, estate agents and tenants.
- Track diary and fuel record.

**Key Skills**
- Ability to work well and be flexible to change in a fast paced environment, including getting reports back in a short time if required.
- Professional but friendly approach to all clients, tenants etc, both face to face and on the phone.
- Competency and efficiency with MS Word & Excel
- Accurate grammar and spelling; reports must be typed accurately and will be spot checked regularly.
- A thorough eye for detail is crucial, taking the time to note all features, issues and defects at each property - landlords will act on your word when releasing end of tenancy deposits.

**Key Information**
- This position is flexible, part time and on a zero hours basis.
- Working hours are mainly between 9 & 5 Monday to Friday, but working some Saturdays may be required from time to time, and there may be some report writing work required in evenings or early mornings during busy periods.
- Competitive rates of pay apply, plus fuel paid on a per mile basis for each job.
- Applicants are required to have a full UK driving license and access to their own car, plus computer or laptop with Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet access.
- Experience in the property industry is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
