**Training Coordinator**

**Rainham, Essex**

**Monday - Friday flexible hours, 6am-2pm/7am-3pm/8am-4pm**

My client, a well established and down to earth company based in Rainham, is looking for a Training Coordinator to join them on a permanent basis. within this busy role, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation of bookings, maintenance of thetraining matrix and ongoing compliance requirements

Duties include:

- Reviewing existing training materials, course outlines and costs produced by third parties
- Managing the FORS (Freight Operators Recognition Scheme) compliance and training requirements
- Managing the Division's overall training competency system, bookings register, role specific training requirements plan and costs
- Coordinating effectively between external training providers and directly delivered training departments
- Modifying or creating course materials and training manuals to meet specific needs
- Scheduling training courses, sessions, booking forms, joining instructions and allocating relevant personnel to each course
- Assisting approved Sub-Contractors with training bookings and advising of requirements
- Managing mandatory training requirements and records of all Sub-Contractors
- Supporting the HR function in the recruitment and induction of new company starters to comply with business requirements
- Monitoring training programs and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up to date
- Working with other Managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments
- Reporting costs for all programs, productions and publications in order to report to the Senior Management Team
- Identifying opportunities for cost and operational efficiencies and maintains an on-going training budget
- Collecting information from Senior Management and other departments regarding how well employees retain information and use the concepts learned in training courses to help manage supply chain
- Carrying out desktop compliance checks and audits on completed documentation
- Carrying out structured internal audits in line with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards
- Completing and reviews DSE assessments for office workers
- Assisting with site compliance activities; fire drills, extinguisher checks and emergency lighting
