Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for an Assistant Supply Chain Estimator to join our team responsible for the day-to-day supply chain support required to ensure that the supply chain inputs to the Contract Review process is completed in a timely fashion. This role will be based at our Staverton site.

Role Summary:

- Assist in the preparation of the supply chain inputs to the Contract Review process and submitting the results into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database (an MS Outlook tool).
- Obtain and follow up on supplier quotations where possible in a timely manner, or to provide estimated costs with justifiable conclusions to support customer pricing decisions.
- Monitor performance data on turnaround times, average age of requests and inputs vs outputs and ensure prioritisation is correctly aligned.
- Maintains technical and product knowledge by collaborating with other teams within the business.
- Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders to support team alignment.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Adhere to all statutory requirements, regulations, and Company policies.
- Adhere to legislation governing employment, including but not restricted to; health and safety, data protection, equal opportunities ensuring compliance with local policies and procedures.
- Undertake such other duties commensurate with the role that may be required from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Able to demonstrate experience in a technical support role in a manufacturing environment. Aerospace experience is desirable but not essential.
