**General Operative Vacancy**

**Overview**:

Following significant investment in a fully automated paint facility, it offers an extensive colour palette, and a superior quality, finish and consistency for all painted products across our comprehensive product portfolio. Our leading facility employs the very latest technology and manufacturing techniques to ensure the highest levels of performance at all times, with the greatest capacity and quickest throughput in the industry.

We are looking for an enthusiastic general operative to join our Paint Finishing team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive and unload deliveries, ensuring products meet the required quality standard
- Ensure all goods are received in full in order to supply the line with product required to fulfil the order on time and in full.
- Pack products in a manner that ensures they reach our customers in perfect condition.
- Build stillages and wrap product in a manner that ensures it reaches its destination complete and without damages.

- Able to follow SOPs and work unsupervised
- Able to problem solve and identify improvements to make the current situation easier, faster and safer
- Computer literate
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to take responsibility and be accountable for your actions
- Willing to go the extra mile for every single customer
- Self-motivated with a positive approach
- A quick learner who’s flexible and willing to help where needed
- Ability to initiate and achieve challenging targets and work under pressure
- Able to work on own initiative and manage own workload
- Excellent listening and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated and effective team player
- Excellent time management skills

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Experience in a goods in/despatch environment.
- FLT licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
