We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Controller to join our Transport division, based at our main office in Linwood. This is a full-time, permanent position covering 40 hours per week from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Roles and Responsibilities will include:
Planning and confirming daily routes

Liaising with drivers to ensure high level of customer service and efficiency are reached and maintained

Liaising with external contractors to secure additional operatives if required

Assisting and understanding of other Transport Controller’s roles and providing cover when required

Logging and maintaining customer database on company CRM system.

Strong IT literacy skills and a good understanding of all Microsoft Office systems

Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment

Good geographical knowledge of the East and Central Scotland

Excellent time management skills

A polite and conscientious telephone manner

Excellent administration and organisational abilities

Excellent communication skills

Eye for detail

Team player.

Experience and Qualifications:
Experience working within a Transport department

Experience working within the waste management industry is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£36,182.00 per year
