**About the role**:
The Work Experience and Industry Placement Coordinator will facilitate and manage work experience and industry placements for students. This role involves liaising with local businesses and organisations to secure placements, coordinating the placement process, and providing support to both students and employers to ensure successful and meaningful experiences.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and organisations to secure work experience and industry placement opportunities
- Coordinate the placement process, including matching students to appropriate placements
- Provide support and guidance to students throughout their placements
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
- Monitor and assess the progress and success of placements
- Organise and conduct pre-placement briefings and post-placement evaluations
- Collaborate with academic staff to integrate work experience into the curriculum
