As a Theatre Nurse / ODP in Anesthetic & Recovery/scrub at our Shrewsbury Hospital, you’ll be registered with the appropriate governing body. You have the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. You must have scrub work experience. Plus, you bring post-registration experience, flexibility and excellent communication skills. You’re also a great team worker.
**As a Theatre Nurse / ODP in Anesthetic & Recovery, Scrub you will**:

- Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff

- Required to be on call, while being on call you will receive 20% of your hourly rate.

Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as 'Good' in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care warkUnit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities.
We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women's health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management.

Overtime
For clinical roles grade 9 and below, the overtime is at a standard rate of pay. For unsocial hours, you’ll be paid an additional enhancement to your salary at the following rates: Nights Hours worked between 7pm and 7am on any day of the week, 30% of basic hourly rate. Weekends Hours worked between 7am and 7pm on a Saturday or Sunday, 20% of basic hourly rate. Bank Holidays Hours worked between midnight and midnight of a bank holiday, 100% of basic hourly rate.
