**Job Description - Warehouse Operative**

**The Coffee House is proud to announce an exciting new position as a Warehouse operative at our new Head Office.**

**The Coffee House is a chain of independent coffee shops based in the North West. We opened our first store in Lymm village in 2011 and have been continuing to grow the business ever since. **This position is working in our warehouse supporting the Warehouse Manager with day to day warehouse duties. This will include preparing internal orders for deliveries, rotating stock and organising the depot and loading vans ready for deliveries.**

**The objective of the warehouse is to serve and support our wider operations, ensuring that we deliver a high quality service at all times.**

**Warehouse Operative**:

- **Support the warehouse manager with unpacking deliveries**:

- **Picking for all our stores in preparation for the evening delivery**:

- **Understanding the process of preparing orders, managing the stock system and being involved in regular stock takes.**:

- **Help identify issues with stock shortages**:

- **Accuracy is key at all times.**:

- **Clean and tidy the warehouse ensuring it remains a safe environment.**:

- **Be aware and be compliant of all company Health and Safety policies and procedures.**

**Requirements for the role**:
**Flexibility - This role is working 10 hours. 2 shifts 12 noon - 5pm on a planned rota which includes both weekdays and weekends as part of a schedule designed to maximise work life balance for all of the team. Extra hours can often be offered.**

**Reliability is a key attribute for this role.**

**Good attention to detail, and confidence with following processes.**

**Salary**: £5.05-£9.97 per hour
