Cleaner

Straight to the Point services is a commercial Cleaning & maintenance company operating in Hertfordshire and Greater London. We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team.

JOB ROLE - Sarratt
- Cleaning tasks, including but not limited to; dusting, spraying surfaces, changing bins (not sanitary or nappy bins) sinks, toilets, mopping, hoovering etc.
- Attend shifts at your designated site at the prescribed time.
- Report any issues with the site relating to maintenance and cleaning to your line Manager
- Working in line with STTP standards— full training + equipment provided
- Polite interactions with clients ‘in passing’, for example, greeting people. No client liaison is needed in regards to managing your site.
- Re-stocking consumables, making sure toilet roll etc. is available.
- Closing and opening procedures to respect the security of your site.

ABOUT YOU
- The perfect job if you want a fuss-free way to supplement your income. Clock in, consistently perform cleaning tasks in-line with STTP standards at your designated site, Clock out, and get paid on the 28th of the month.
- Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
- At least an adequate level of spoken English, conducive to the work environment. Attitude and manners are most important.
- Have your own phone, so that your Manager can assist you remotely.
- No qualifications required; all training provided. Written guides, step by step, are available on your phone as a backup.
- Must be friendly, diligent and conscientious. Test scenario: If you are working in a team and you complete your tasks first, the kind of STTP employee we are looking for, would actively help their teammates rather than watch their colleagues struggle
- Good timekeeping.
- Responsible and reliable in nature
- Ability to travel to your site consistently
- Own transport preferred
- Experience is preferred but not essential, attitude is more important

ABOUT US
- Multiple sites and overtime available, ad hoc or increase your contract.
- Flexible timings for most shifts.
- No domestic cleaning, commercial spaces only. Most sites are empty - no awkward interactions, do your job and go.
- 0 hours and set hour contracts available.
- Not a self-employed role - we cover the paperwork.
- We provide the equipment, chemicals & PPE. Tell us and it will be provided.
- Full training provided with refresher sessions upon request.
- Training on specialist machines like buffers and upholstery cleaners if required (usually Cleaning Supervisors only).
- Paid holiday allowance depending on the contract type.
- Support from Managers. If you are working, we are working. Most of the management team has progressed having started with STTP as Cleaners.
