We service clients across a variety of business types and industries, including start-up enterprises, mid-market organisations, public sector bodies and large corporations.

One of the key drivers of our success has been partnering our national network of specialists with the market-based teams. We work closely with colleagues across the firm, especially those within the wider People Advisory Services group, which also covers Employment Law, Payroll Services and HR Consultancy, ensuring we provide a joined-up service, combining all our expertise.

**About the role**

You will be responsible for providing advisory and compliance services within Global Mobility to a wide range of clients. This will involve actively building relationships and aiding senior members of staff in both client work and in the management of the group, as appropriate. You will lead a dedicated team, delegating tasks while mentoring, supporting, and nurturing their professional growth.

- Leading the UK tax and social security compliance programs across a client portfolio (tax returns, payroll, tax briefings, social security compliance), ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Co-ordinating UK headquartered global mobility programmes.
- Working alongside Partners and Directors to help develop new business whilst identifying opportunities to expand on existing client work, involving other colleagues, departments and/or services when appropriate.
Handling day-to-day financial requirements of running a client portfolio, and acting as the first point of management within that process.
- Make time to coach, mentor, develop and conduct appraisals of team in a timely manner as well as identifying talent within the team and ensures they are given stretching work and development opportunities.
- Contribute positively to training and development activities of team and more broadly across the office/firm, as well as providing constructive feedback to develop and strengthen performance of team members.
- Maintaining an advanced level of technical knowledge through appropriate reading and courses, ensuring clients’ tax affairs comply with statutory requirements and fulfilling professional bodies’ CPD requirements.
- Carrying out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, the title of the role and its grading, as requested by the line manager, Head of Department or any Partner.

This opportunity is suited to a self-starting individual who proactively takes responsibility and wants to work in a dynamic environment. You will possess strong experience in expatriate tax and international social security, including an understanding of the complexities relating to a range of clients in both large and small organisations who have cross-border workers. You will be ATT and/or CTA qualified, or equivalent, with the ability to articulate technical matters to non-tax specialists. You will have proven experience of taking the lead on queries and managing multiple engagement with difference teams simultaneously.
- Strong organisation with demonstrated project management skills, with evidence of the ability to plan and prioritise work, meeting deadlines.
