**About us**:
Little Learners Land is a brand-new, purpose-built nursery in London Colney, St Albans. We believe that we have created an environment that has our children at its heart where everything is made at their level and accessible at their level to foster independence from the very beginning.

**Your role**:
We are currently seeking two apprentices to join our dynamic team of qualified practitioners who have the experience to provide you with hands-on training and mentoring. You will be providing care for the babies and children in our care as well as developing relationships with their parents and carers as parent partnership is fundamental to us at Little Learners Land. You will be instrumental in the children’s learning and development as those early years are the most influential in their lives. You will be providing experiences for them to learn through play discussing the children’s interests and next steps as a team. You will be a team playerready to step in and help your fellow team members. You will gain an understanding into the workings of a day nursery with full knowledge of the importance of health and safetyensuring that the nursery’s policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.

**Your training**:
By the end of your apprenticeship, you will have achieved the Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification (Little Learners Land will organise the training for you but you will be responsible for submitting your work and meeting deadlines). In addition to that, Little Learners Land will provide you with full Paediatric First Aid Training, Safeguarding Trainingand Food Hygiene Training. You will be fully trained in the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

**Requirements**:

- Must have either GCSE Maths and English Grade 4 and/or Functional Skills Maths and English Level 2
- Be a UK Citizen or have lived in the UK for the past 3 years
- Must provide consent to a DBS check and agreement to be on the DBS Update Service

Pay: From £7.30 per hour
