We are looking for an Associate Director of Revenue Control to join our Revenue control function. The role will have primary responsibility for the Revenue Control process from start to finish, whilst managing a small team of Revenue Controllers.

The successful individual will ensure timely posting of revenue on a monthly basis within a strong control environment and support the Director, Revenue Control in ongoing Finance Transformation projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day to day activities of Revenue Control team, including performance management and development
- Ensure a timely and efficient month end revenue posting process, working to a defined timetable
- Generate revenue reports for analysis and review with [FP&A team] and senior management
- Understand, monitor and record the various business revenue lines/products to support performance review and planning activities
- Improve and standardise balance sheet control process, through automation
- Identify and resolve revenue related issues promptly
- Provide financial expertise to Management for revenue improvements
- Liaising with group auditors and responding to queries during year end and half year audit cycles
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong control background; audit-orientated experience
- Insurance background desired but not mandatory
- Accounting systems knowledge, with experience of SUN (or similar) system desired
- Comfortable working with large datasets
- Prioritise and organise own and team workload to ensure that deadlines are met
- Keen attention to detail
- A curiosity to understand and improve control processes
- Methodical approach to data
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
