Scope and Purpose of the role
Main Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the bedrooms and corridors are cleaned regularly throughout your shift to the highest standards.
- Providing a first-class housekeeping service to guests across all areas of the hotel sustaining the highest level of cleanliness and service in line with company standards.
- Following regular deep cleaning schedule to ensure that the bedrooms are kept to the highest standard possible
- Ensuring that all staff Health & Safety policy is applied at all times.
- Any other duties commensurate with the post
Person Specification
- Experienced knowledge of housekeeping operations.
- Superb attention to details and understanding of a luxury environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exceptional organisation skills
- Personal appearance to be professional
- Understands and appreciates the need for flexibility with a flexible approach to working hours to meet housekeeping demands.
- Ability to work as part of a team to ensure a productive environment
- Takes a ‘hands on’ approach with a willingness to carry out physical work
- Approachable, friendly and understanding of the daily needs of a busy housekeeping team
The purpose of this role profile is to focus attention on the most important aspects of the role of Housekeeper at Hempstead House Hotel. It is not intended to be a complete list of every duty and it is therefore expected that the day-to-day performance of the job will include tasks not listed above.
Pay: £12.27 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
