**School Receptionist/ Front Office Administrator - Private Education - Friendly and Supportive team - Dynamic and Fast-paced environment - Full Time - Monday to Friday - up to £26.000 - located in W3, West London - opportunities for personal development**
This role is all year round, not term time only, based in the school 5 days per week.
**About the role**:
We are looking for a candite who is happy to be in a dynamic and fast paced environment. This is a busy Receptionist/Front Office Administrator, and you will be the first point of contact for any person visiting the school. You will be playing a key role in the presentation of a professional first impression to all visitors and staff. You will take charge of overseeing all visitors to the site and ensuring that safeguarding procedures are followed at all times. You will also provide support to secretaries as and when needed.
**About day-to-day duties and responsibilities**:
- Responsible for checking that all morning and afternoon registers have been completed on time.
- Follow up on absences, particularly in relation to sickness in line with current COVID-19 guidelines.
- Maintain copies of any safeguarding related documents for students, staff and visitors. E.g. sign in/sign out forms
- Deal with student lateness as agreed with the Head of Pastoral.
- Responsible for chasing the teachers for class registers, which must be delivered no later than 09:10 and 14:15.
- Along with other office staff ensure that student records (paper files and on the database), are updated especially with contact details.
- Strictly follow safeguarding procedures for the dismissal of students at all times of the day, including after clubs when on duty.
**First Aid & Health And Safety**
- Communicate with parents in regards to accidents, medical emergencies or ill children who need to be collected early.
- Responsible for printing off fire reports and distribution of staff and student registers to correct Fire Marshals.
**Administrative, Office Work**
- Bulk photocopying and printing
- File all important documents and communications in student's files.
- Responsible for distributing and logging keys for student lockers, ordering new keys if needed over the summer.
